The Gloucester Wine Festival is pleased to announce the The Cook Foundation has returned as this year’s Virginia Artisan Sponsor!

The Cook Foundation is a non-profit, private foundation, whose primary focus is to enhance the quality of life in Gloucester, Virginia, through the support of local arts and architecture. The Foundation promotes aesthetic awareness and pride in the community and has brought many successful programs for the enjoyment of the community.

The successful “Symphony Under the Stars” program, located on historic Gloucester Main Street, provided by the Cook Foundation, just celebrated it’s 12th year! On this evening, the Virginia Symphony Orchestra provides an evening of music, which is provided at no charge to the community. Grants for artists, Main Street beautification projects including floral lamp baskets and the “Art in the Air” village banner flag arts, and much more. This year was the 2nd Annual Gloucester Art Festival, which included the showcasing fines painters from the Mid-Atlantic region through Plein Air events in our beautiful coastal surroundings, Symphony Under the Stars, An Evening with Elijah Rock, a beautiful new mural painted on the side of The Silver Box store by Detroit based artist Ouizi, and more! The Cook Foundation welcomes Virginian Artisans to the 9th Annual Gloucester Wine Festival!

Come out on Saturday, September 22nd from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. to experience a day of Virginia Wine and fine fare, alongside artisans and crafters, and unique retail vendors!
